
SRF the German language broadcaster in Switzerland has revealed how much it pays towards the Swiss Eurovision participation fee.
SRF today decided to reveal the costs of running the channel to provide transparency. SRF which is one of the three Swiss broadcasters that together compete in the Eurovision Song Contest pays a total of CHF 69,000 to compete in the competition this is 63,500 Euro. The fee is lower less just 12% of the overall cost per episode of the latest series of the Voice of Switzerland which costs a total of 819,000 per episode (753,717 Euro).
RSI the Italian language broadcaster and RTS the French language broadcaster will be revealing their costs in 2016.
