
Tonight, Russia chose their song and artist to represent them at the forthcoming Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Sofia, Bulgaria.
From 18 songs in a televised national final, Mikhail Smirnov was selected and will sing the song “Mechta” which translates as “Dream” into English. Mikhail was selected from combined televoting and jury voting.
Maria Mirova and “Letat” (Fly) came 2nd and Khikmatullina & Maneshina and “Begi” (Run) came 3rd.
So Russia sends a song about dreams for the third year in row…
Yeah, and in adult Eurovision they send songs about piece.
