
Denmark will select their singer for Eurovision 2016 in February 13 it has been announced today by DR.
Horsens will once again play host to Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, the city last held a DMGP selection in 2008 when Simon Matthews was selected to represent Denmark in Belgrade. The Horsens Forum will hold between 3,500 to 4,000 people in February when the final will take place.
Mayor of Horsens, Peter Sorenson told DR that:
I am both proud and incredibly pleased that DR has again chosen Horsens as the host city and partner for the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix and Melodi Grand Prix for children.
Submissions for DMGP are open until September 7.
