ARMTV has announced that they have changed the name of their song from “Don’t Deny” to “Face The Shadow”.
The change was requested by the EBU Reference Group in order to take away any suggestion of political intent behind the song. Gohar Gasparyan the head of the Armenian delegation said that it was requested:
To strengthen the concept of an anthem of peace, love and unity.

They should’ve renamed it “You And I”, which was also mentioned in the chorus.
changing the name of the song does not change it’s meaning or political statement.
