Today, the Spanish broadcaster TVE have announced that Edurne’s song for Vienna, entitled ‘Amenecer’ (‘Dawn’ in English) will be released on 1st March. Edurne was selected internally by TVE on 14th January.
The song will be written by Spanish songwriter Tony Sánchez-Ohlsson (who had previously written ‘I Love You Mi Vida’ for D’Nash in 2007) as well as Swedish songwriters Peter Boström and Thomas G:son.
As one of the ‘Big five’, Spain automatically qualify for the final to be held on Saturday 23rd May.
