Cyprus continues their search for their Eurovision 2015 participant. The first round of their selection show will be taking place from 20:05 CET and can be watched live here.
The show tonight sees a number of the 60 participants performing for the jury in a “The Voice” style audition round. Each participant will perform part of their song, they will be doing lead vocals but the backing vocals will be provided on the backing track. The jury will then have to decide whether they will go through to the next round, they need to give three “Yes’” for the singer to go through. A total of 20 singers will make it to the next round overall.
The jury is made up of:
- Alexandros Panayi (Cyprus’ Eurovision participant 1995 & 2000, songwriter for Cyprus’ JESC 2014 entry, vocal coach for 8 Eurovision participants)
- Tasos Tryfonos (Producer)
- Elena Patroklou (Singer)
- Despina Olympiou (Eurovision 2013 Cypriot participant)
