The “Eurovision Song Project” continued this evening in Cyprus with 8 artists performing in front of the judges to make it through to the next stage of the contest. A total of 60 artists are taking part in the largest Eurovision selection process Cyprus has ever held.
The judges deciding who went through were:
- Alexandros Panayi (Cyprus’ Eurovision participant 1995 & 2000, songwriter for Cyprus’ JESC 2014 entry, vocal coach for 8 Eurovision participants)
- Tasos Tryfonos (Producer)
- Elena Patroklou (Singer)
- Despina Olympiou (Eurovision 2013 Cypriot participant)
Qualifying tonight were:
- Christina Tselepou – In these arms
- Valence – Scared
- Pieros Kezou– Said it all before
- Maria Moskofian and Christiana X Iordanous – Sailing Ships Pirates and Dragons
- Ioanna Protopapa – Beat of my heart
Out of the contest are:
- Kostas Archontous – Steko akoma
- Charalambous “Luna” Joseph – Call for me
- Lady Ava – Until the end of time
Luna took part in the first show and already has one song through to the next stage.
The contest continues next Sunday from 20:30 CET.
