Today is the deadline for countries to confirm their participation in the ABU Radio Song Festival 2015. The contest which will take place on May 29th is being held in Yangon, Myanmar.
The contest is open for between 10-15 countries to participate in the live final which is broadcast on TV as well. Myanmar the hosts are debuting at this years contest, it is expected that India, Iran, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Brunei, Australia and Malaysia will all take part in the contest having all taken part in the two previous editions of the contest.
In 2012 a total of 14 countries participated in the contest, with 10 countries making it through to the final, while in 2013 a total of 12 countries participated in the festival in Sri Lanka.

I guess that the venue for the ABU Radio Song Festival 2015 will take place in the Yangon National Theatre. I think that this will be the place, but there’s not official information about that.
Please (if it’s possible) ask the broadcasters of these countries about JESC 2015 participation, because English Wikipedia editors don’t want to acknowledge the official JESC Twitter’s confirmation:

Great news!!!. I also have turned into an asiafan. I’m specially interested in the burmese entry.
I have started listening to B-pop music and it soulds OK, but it still has got many things to improve.
I wonder if the MRTV, the burmese broadcaster will also take part in the ABU TV Song Festival 2015.
In my opinion, the ABU Radio Song Festival and the ABU TV Song Festival should be merged into one. This way, all the artists, massively popular or beginners, will get instant promotion and the broadcasters will have the chance to organise national finals.
