Today Junior Eurovision 2014 truly gets underway with the first rehearsals taking place in the arena in Marsa. Last night saw the running order for Saturday night’s final take place, so we now know exactly in which order the countries will be performing.
The order of the rehearsals today is as follows:
- Netherlands 10:00-10:40
- Sweden – 10:40-11:20
- Armenia – 11:20-12:00
- Russia – 12:00-12:40
- Italy – 13:40-14:20
- Ukraine – 14:20-15:00
- Bulgaria – 15:00-15:40
- Cyprus – 15:40-16:20
Other countries today will be recording their part for the group song “#Together” which will be performed on Saturday night as part of the interval act. The Group Song brings together all of the 16 competing countries as well as Gaia Cauchi last years winner.
And also today a number of countries will be heading off to schools around Malta to perform for the children of that school as well as take part in activities organised by the contest at the schools.
