Yesterday the semi final in Kazakhstan’s Turkvision selection took place in Almaty, 47 singers performed in front of a panel of judges with 12 being selected to go through to the televised final on October 26th.
The jury was made up of:
- Rinat Gysin – composer, arranger, singer, music produce
- Rinat Dumanuly – general producer of “The Agency” Khabar “
- Aynur Tursynbayeva – TV presenter
- Timur Serzhanov – DJ, program director of the radio station «NS»
- Altynay Zhorabaeva – Kazakhstan singer, Honored Kazakhstan, Laureate of “Daryn”.
The finalists are as follows:

- Group – Alshy
- Group – VoiceKz
- Dastan Orazbekov
- Dias Ablayev
- Yerbol Sharipov
- Zhanar Dugalova

- Nurzhan Kermenbayev
- Serik Ibragimov
- Sanda
- Luina
Luina also participated in the Kazakh final last year and is one of the biggest names in the Kazakh music industry. Furthermore Group – Alashuly, Serik Ibragimov and Nurzhan Kermenbayev all also took part in the 2013 final.
The final takes place on October 26th on Khabar TV, the winner will be selected through a combination of jury vote and public televote.
