Serbia are to select their participant for Junior Eurovision 2014 internally. The broadcaster said that the decision was taken due to the short time span they have left to select their participant, which would not have given time for national selection process. RTS music team will interview potential participants and get together a team who will help produce their entry for this years contest.
Serbia last participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2010 before withdrawing due to a lack of funds and interest. 2010 had however been Serbia’s best placing in the contest finishing 3rd with Sonja Škorić and her song “Čarobna noć”

Both came 3rd, but 2007 saw more participants than 2010.
I think they’ll choose an older 14-15 year old girl with a pretty ballad. Who knows, after Gaia and her winning ballad maybe Serbia can win with that too.
