Tonight Belarus selects their participant for Junior Eurovision 2014 in a live televised final. A total of 10 participants will take part in tonight’s show which starts at 21:00 CET and can be watched live on the BTRC website here or JuniorEurovision.tv here. Hosting tonight’s show is Teo the 2014 Eurovision entrant from Belarus and Ilya Volkov who came third last year for Belarus at Junior Eurovision 2013 in Kiev.
The running order tonight is:
- Yulia Levina – 11 – Zhuravy
- Anna Yermokovich – 14 – Mama, eto ya!
- Nadezhda Misyakova – 14 – Sokol
- Vladisalava Doroshevich – 10 – Ya Veryu v Soyvu Mechtu!
- Elena Titova – 10 – Stsena
- Darya Atroshenko – 14 – Sopyot Solntse
- Angelina Pipper – 14 – Vshe Vsekh
- Ksenia and Pavel – 13 & 11 – Mamina Lyubov
- Antoni Konoplyanik – 9 – Mister Perviy
- Anna Zaitseva – 14 – Geta Moy Lios
The winner tonight will be selected by a 50% jury vote and a 50% public televote. Also tonight a delegation from the Hungarian broadcaster MTVA will be at the show, Kata Nitrai the Head of Entertainment, told BTRC that:
The EBU recommended us to visit Belarus as it has long experience of holding selection rounds for Junior Eurovision

The report just says that a delegation of the Hungarian broadcaster attends the show in Belarus. But for this year Hungary already said no to JESC. So their interest could only be for the coming years!

It’s not about jury, it’s about compositions. Three of them will be on Belarusian language, and seven – on Russian.
PLEASE Angelina, Nadezhda, or Anna Zaitseva. Angelina and Nadezhda could both definitely win JESC, while I just really love Anna’s song. If Belarus ends up picking someone like Yulia, Vladislava, or Antoni I will be so mad.
Also why has Elena’s song still not been released?
I know “Geta moy lios” and “Zhuravy” are sung in Belarusian, but what is the other song?
