Ireland have gone down the Celtic route again this year, while it worked last year I’m not as convinced this year. Kasey’s vocals have improved and she looks more comfortable on stage, but the backing dancers are incredibly distracting. Ireland seem to have a habit of wanting to remind everyone that came up with River dance and everytime they have Irish dancers on stage they struggle. Apart from the backing dancers, the rest of the staging works quite well. This is still on the borderline to qualify.
