The host nation of Denmark will perform 23rd in the final of Eurovision 2014, it has been announced. The rest of the running order will be decided in the coming weeks for the semi finals.
The EBU told Eurovision.tv that:
As the host country, Denmark was also drawn to be performing as number 23 in the Grand Final of the contest in May. The running order for the Semi-Finals will be revealed by the producers in the weeks to come. The running order for the Final will be revealed shortly after all the finalists have been chosen.
The second half of the running order is traditionally seen as the better half for a nation to perform in, bring better results in the contest than the first half.
