The second semi final of Söngvakeppnin 2014 take place tonight in Iceland, with the final 5 acts performing for 2 places in the final. 2 acts will be selected tonight by a televote, they will qualify direct to the final. There are however still 2 wildcard places left in the final, these will be decided by a jury and announced in the coming days.
The running order for tonight’s show is as follows:

- Guðrún Árný Karlsdóttir – Til þín
- F.U.N.K – Þangað til ég dey
- Guðbjörg Magnúsdóttir – Aðeins ætluð þér
- Pollapönk – Enga fordóma

I must admit that I’m a little bit disappointed with the quality of the songs in the second semi-final in Iceland. It’s certainly not a bad semi-final but the first semi-final from last week was better and stronger.
