RTVSLO have confirmed that they will be taking part in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
RTVSLO said in a statement this afternoon that:
After checking the interest in the project of the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 with advertisers and consider the fact that programming is related to the selection of the Eurovision Song Contest, high on popularity among listeners and viewers, the RTV Slovenia has decided to participate in the competition in 2014 . Details of the method of selection and participation of the Slovenian representative in the Eurovision Song Contest will be announced later.
RTVSLO’s decision means that we will be seeing a total of 37 countries in Copenhagen. Slovenia are yet to announce how they will be selecting their Eurovision entrant as there has been both talk of a national selection as well as the internal selection of April who took part in EMA 2014.
