The 5th heat in Lithuania has just finished. A total of 9 acts were competing for 8 spaces in the next round of the contest. Tonight’s show saw the acts singing covers of worldwide hits. The acts that have qualified for the next round are:

- Vilija Matačiūnaitė – Spectrum (Say My Name)
- Justinas Lapatinskas – Diamonds

- Ieva Zasimauskaitė – Dear Mr. President
- Monika Linkytė – Radioactive

The next round of the Lithuanian selection takes place on Saturday 18th.
Anthony, sorry to be rude and off topic, but how old are you? just wondered whether you was similar age to me, judging from your new photo, I’m 18, great to see theres other young people out in the UK which are keen about Eurovision related events. most of my friends and people my age have no interest whats so ever, kind of sad as I don’t have anyone except for online to talk to about Eurovision stuff.
It’s fine going off topic I’m 17, turn 18 at the end of February. There are a fair few people on Twitter around the same age as you and me that are interested in Eurovision, it’s great to be able to talk about Eurovision with them during the national finals.
