Tonight the semi final of Virtuos will take place in Norway. Virtuos is the national selection process for Eurovision Young Musicians, with a total of 8 musicians hoping to make it through to the final on February 9th.
The 8 semi finalists are:
- Julia Xia
- Soran Lind
- Louise Vivian Tsui
- Sonoko Miriam Shimano Welde
- Nora Hannisdal
- Trond Sagbakken
- Miriam Kammler
- Julie Frøystein
The five acts that will qualify for the final will be selected by a jury. The members of the jury are:
- Marianne Thorsen – Violinist
- Noreen Marie Bratlie – Pianist
- Petter Winroth – Trombonist
- Arild Erikstad – Chair of the Jury
The results of the show will be known later this evening, it is not known if the show is being broadcast live on NRK radio or not.
