  1. Anthony, in december it was reported by Oikotimes that Georgia ist „struggling“ for participacion. But if the deadline for all the countries was yesterday exceptly Slovenia that means that Georgia will participate or that the News of Oikotimes were false. Do yo Hear anything about this? And about HRT? We know now that BNT will Not participate.

    1. I dont think we will see HRT and Croatia in Copenhagen now, if they were going to participate I’m sure they would have said something official before now.

  2. JESC 2014 date has been released, it will be screened on the 15th November, the earliest time it has taken place since the 2003 edition in Copenhagen.

    1. I’ve been told by the EBU that the date has not yet been confirmed by the EBU or the reference group for JESC. So until then I wont be publishing any news about the date of the contest.

  3. Confirmed! 36 countries+ Slovenia in Copenhaguen. Oikotimes News were only Bullshit! But it’s the worst number since 2004 this is very bad. But some countries will return in 2015. Hopely we will see 45 countries.

  4. It seems that all is getting smaller! 36 countries B&W etc. Sweden and Denmark seems to be good singers at Eurovision but horrible as hosts! Last year the Show wasn’t good. Horrible Outfits very small stage boring interval acts (Benny and Björns anthem was like a school parade with a flag march) embarassing Problems during the voting (Montenegros Echo and Bulgaria that didn’t come) and after 35th country the reveal of the winner. This is stupid! In a contest we Need thrill until the end Not until the 35th country. It is clear that a Big 5 (giant Budget, good Arenas,Lots of Sponsors) and the exsoviets (want promote their country, enough Money) are the Perfect hosts and the best at Organisation (good relationships with other broadcasters) that’s why Düsseldorf 2011,Baku2012 and Moscow 2009 were the best in Organisation.
