Hungarian broadcaster of the Eurovision Song Contest, MTVA, has today announced during a press conference the names of the 30 acts that have been selected to enter Hungarian national selection process. The participants have been selected by a ten member jury (in which takes part last year’s representative ByeAlex) among a total of 435 submitted entries. Here are the names of the entries and the songs that will take part in A Dal 2014’s heats in alphabetical order:

- Bálint Gájer – Elmaradt pillanatok (Unhappened moments)
- Belmondo – Miért ne higgyem (Why wouldn’t I believe?)
- Bogi – We all
- Dénes Pál – Brave new world
- Depresszió – Csak a zene (Only music)
- Expensive – Help me!
- Fool Moon – It can’t be over
- Gabi Knoll – Sweet memories
- Gigi Radics – Catch me
- Group n Swing – Retikül (Handbag)
- Heni Dér – Ég veled (God speeds you)
- Hien – The way I do
- HoneyBeast – A legnagyobb hős (The biggest hero)

Among these names, you might remember Laura Cserpes, Bogi, Dénes Pál, Gigi Radics and Tamás Vastag from A Dal 2013. András Kállay-Saunders is returning for the third time after having participated to A Dal 2012 and 2013. The three heats will take place on the 25th January, the 1st February and the 8th February and MTVA already announced that their two hosts, Éva Novodomszky and Gábor Gundel Takács, would also return, but this accompanied by backstage presenters who are Krisztina Rátonyi and Levente Harsányi.
