Yago Fandiño, Head of children’s programs for the Spanish national broadcaster TVE has confirmed that they would return to Junior Eurovision in the coming years. This return is dependent on the EBU following through with their rethinking of the Junior Eurovision format that would make it more suitable for a younger audience. They went on to confirm that TVE and the EBU are in contact over the contest.
