With just over a day until the final of the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest, itโs time to look at who the bookies think will win the contest tomorrow. So there are 26 countries taking part in the final, 20 of which qualified from the final, the other six prequalified as they are part of the Big 5 and are the host nation Sweden. So the first number will be the lowest odd, whilst the second number is the highest odds.
- Denmark โ 1.57 & 1.79
- Norway โ 5.5 & 9.2
- Ukraine โ 9 & 14.8
- Azerbaijan โ 11 & 20
- Russia โ 11 & 18.1
- Italy โ 19 & 35
- Netherlands โ 19 & 38
- Georgia โ 23 & 40
- Germany โ 21 & 62
- Finland โ 21 & 69
- Greece โ 15 & 51
- Ireland โ 34 & 67
- Sweden โ 41 & 114
- United Kingdom โ 34 & 135
- Malta โ 61 & 171
- Romania โ 51 & 191
- Moldova โ 51 & 247
- Belgium โ 101 & 418
- Belarus โ 81 & 342
- Lithuania โ 101 & 589
- Estonia โ 101 & 251
- Hungary โ 101 & 251
- Iceland โ 67 & 257
- France โ 101 & 409
- Spain โ 151 & 836
- Armenia โ 101 & 836
Okay so Denmark are looking like a bit of a clear winner, but tomorrowโs contest really will be decided by where the Balkans vote. Normally they vote amongst themselves, however they do also vote for Greece, Ukraine, Russia, Azerbaijan, Malta and the UK. Italy may also be another place that will pull votes from the Balkans. Another question will be where will the votes go from those who normally vote for Turkey, so points from Germany, France, Netherlands, Belgium and Switzerland will all be up for grabs.
If weโre looking at a country that could win the besideโs Denmark they would be one of these countries:
- Ukraine
- Germany
- Norway
- Azerbaijan
If you want to bet on a last place Iโd go for:
- Hungary
- Spain
- Lithuania
- Estonia
- Belarus
Itโs all up for grabs.
