Carola has been announced today by SVT that she will be the interval act in the Eurovision final. Carola who has taken part in Eurovision twice and won the contest back in 1992 will be performing a number of her hits. Christer Björkman said that:
“she is part of an intermission where she will sing, dance and be funny. It’s based on humor, and she is part of a larger context. It’s all about Sweden and Swedish culture.”
Interestingly Carola knew that she would be the interval act at Eurovision when she was performing in the final of Melodifestivalen as the interval act their.
