Malmo’13: Expectations For Today

Here Are Our Thoughts
Here Are Our Thoughts

Last night again I had a chat with some other Eurovision friends about what we expect from today. So here is a quick breakdown of what we are thinking:

Latvia:

  • Has anything changed with the song since the selection?
  • Will they be wearing the sparkly suits?
  • Can they convince people that they are worth voting for?

San Marino:

  • Vocally with Valentina blow us all away?
  • Is this just another fan wank that when performed will flop?
  • Will there be a massive wind machine moment?

FYR Macedonia:

  • Is the song in Macedonian or English?
  • Can Esma remember when to sing?
  • Will this just be a massive clash of styles?

Azerbaijan:

  • What sort of pyro’s or other stage tricks will be used with this song?
  • Can Farid bring some more life into this song?
  • Will it just look the same as the national selection?

Finland:

  • Will Krista be kissing a backing singer?
  • Will there be snow in this song acting as confetti?
  • How will they get the most out of this song?

Malta?

  • What will Ginaluca be doing on stage?
  • Can this become the song that surprises everyone?
  • Will Malta try and push the boat out and do something interesting with the staging?

Bulgaria:

  • Will it just look like 2007 all over again?
  • Can this song look like it will get Bulgaria into the finals?
  • Will there be a bag pipe player on stage?

Iceland:

  • Will this be a wind machine moment?
  • How does Eythor make his presence felt on stage?
  • Can this be a rousing song just before the end of the 1st half?

We will be bringing you all of today’s news at the end of today.
