Today the EBU has revealed the the venue of the 2013 Junior Eurovision Song Contest is the National Palace of Arts “Ukraina”. This is a different venue to the venue of the 2009 contest in Kiev, which was the Palace of Sports. This venue can seat up to 3,714.
The Exectutive Supervisor of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, Vladislav Yakovlev said:
I am very pleased with the venue – the National Palace of Arts of Ukraine. Having seen all the features of the arena, I can say that this Venue is well suited for the future JESC-2013 and meets all our requirements.
The official hotel for the contest was announced today also as the Alfativo Hotel just 5 minutes from the venue in central Kiev.
