SVT have today revealed that they will be implementing some changes to the “Andra Chansen” round of Melodifestivalen. In previous years it has been that there were 4 duels and the winner of the each duel would then progress to the second stage where the remaining songs would fight for two spots in the final.
In 2013 we will see a battle between all 8 competing songs, the top.4 of this battle will then progress into two duels, with the winner of each then going through to the final.
