BTRC have today announced the rules for this years selection. The rules are more or less the same as the rules for Eurovision. Songs can be entered to the broadcaster until the 22nd of October, up to 15 songs will be selected to go into a semi final which may take place in November. 5 songs will then qualify for the final in December. These earlier dates show that Belarus is looking to extend the period of time their artists have to prepare, this comes after Belarus has not made it to the final since 2010.
