Montenegro: J-Da wins Sunčane Skale 2012

 

We Have A Winner

J-Da from Turkey has won the 18th annual Sunčane Skale festival in Montenegro. The festival it’self is a show case of music in the Balkans, this year it saw participants as well from Azerbaijan, the United States and Norway among others.

There were a total of 24 participants from 19 countries including a number of former Eurovision entrants. Nuša Derenda (Slovenia 2001), Vlatko Ilievski (Macedonia 2011), Marcin Mrozinski (Poland 2010), Magazin (Croatia 1995 & Croatia 2009 with Andrea). Also a number of artists who have entered National Finals before including Rikke Norman (Norway, MGP 2011 & 2012) among others.

J-Da with her song “Gel-Gel” won with 84 points from the jury just 1 point ahead of the Azerbaijani entrant Sereyan and 9 points ahead of the 2010 Polish entrant Marcin Mrozinski. Here are the full results:
