Loreen has charted at No.3 in the UK despite minimal airplay within the United Kingdom. Loreen matched the ranking that Katrina and The Waves achieved back in 1997 when they won the contest with “Love Shine A Light”. It is the best ranking of a Eurovision winner since 1997 as well. Earlier in the week Loreen topped the iTunes download chart for 3 days running, the best running of a Eurovision winner in the UK iTunes chart ever.
