In BELTA a Belarussian newspaper the participation of Belarus at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest appears to be confirmed. In an interview with the First Deputy Culture Minister of Belarus Vladimir Karachevsky, he says that participation of Belarus in the contest should continue, he goes onto say that Belarus must learn from the mistakes of other countries and look at the way that they pick their artist and the song they send to the contest. Belarus were represented in Baku by Litesound with โWe Are The Heroesโ who finished 16th with 45 points.
