The Netherlands will hold the 10th annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest next year. This will be 5 years since they last hosted the contest in 2007 in Rotterdam. The host city and venue are yet to be announced by the Netherlands and AVRO will host the contest. “We aim for more participants but a more intimate event in 2012,” said Sietse Bakker, Supervisor of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest on behalf of the EBU. “We are sure they’ll organise a show at a wonderful level.” Dtaes for the contest are yet to be decided.
