Audrius Siaurusvicius the general director of the LithuanianNational Broadcaster has confirmed participation in Baku to the news websiteBalsas. Audrius said to the site that one advantage was that the earlierannouncement allows artists to get the songs ready in a longer period of timethan normal due to Lithuania normally announcing participation at the lastminute. He also said that LRT has negotiated with the EBU for a more favourableparticipation fee and had secured sponsors from companies like โTeoโ.The national selection process is unknown due to the broadcasters current focuson Junior Eurovision.
