How Many Points? is a new series that looks through the voting within the Eurovision Song Contest looking at all 51 countries that have taken part in the contest over the years. We will look at the total of points they have received in the finals and the semi finals and have a look at who likes them and who does not like them. So now let’s start with Albania.

Albania debuted back in 2004 after being refused in 2003 and boy did they debut in style they amassed a total of 273 points in the semi final and final finishing on the night in 7th with 106 points. Albania has so far given Greece at total of 85 points and average of 10.625 per contest, their most recent 12 points however went to Italy with their 10 going to Greece. Albania however does not receive the same amount of points back from Greece who have given them 47 points, their 2nd highest voter. The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia has so far given them 55 points which is on average a total of 11 points per contest where they have reached the final. Albania’s most recent 12 points came from Greece this year in Semi Final 1. Up next week we have Andorra.
