The Intervision Song Contest has once again been delayed, the contest has now been pushed back to the autumn of this year.

The contest has been pushed back according to the Producer of the show due to economic difficulties in Russia. The show which was announced back in June 2014 was due to take place in October 2014 before it was pushed back until the spring of this year.

A total of six countries have been announced as taking part in the contest they are; China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. Latvia has already confirmed to Eurovoix.com that they will not be participating.

  1. If Russia wants to imitate the success of the Eurovision Song Contest in the Eurasian sphere, they should join to ABU so that thy could participate the ABU TV Song Festival. Once there, they could contribute to turn it into a competition.
