
The EBU have announced today that Plzeň in the Czech Republic will host Eurovision Young Dancers 2015. The 2013 contest was held in Gdansk, Poland by TVP the Polish national broadcaster.
Eurovision Young Dancers becomes the first Eurovision event that the Czech Broadcaster, will have hosted. The event is scheduled for June 2015. We first became aware of the Czech Republic’s likelihood of hosting the event in an interview published by the Ukrainian broadcaster NTU in which Executive Producer said that the Czech Republic were likely to host.
Plzeň will be the European Capital of Culture in 2015 alongside the Belgian city of Mons. The city is the Capital of the West Bohemia region of the Czech Republic and home to over 170,000 people.
