The Philippines is one of the countries set to compete in the first edition of the Eurovision Song Contest Asia in 2026.

ABS-CBN was announced on March 31, 2026 as one of ten broadcasters set to compete in the first edition of the Eurovision Song Contest Asia. The Philippines are set to compete in the final of the contest in Bangkok, Thailand, on November 14.

Eurovision Song Contest
While the Philippines is not eligible to compete in the Eurovision Song Contest, the contest has been aired in the country. In 1972, it is reported that the contest was broadcast on television in the country.
Our Sound โ The Asia-Pacific Song Contest
Our Sound was the first attempt to bring the Eurovision Song Contest to the Asia-Pacific region. The contest was due to be held in 2010 by a private company that had purchased the rights to an Asia-Pacific version of the contest.
The Philippines was among the countries announced as competing before the contest was cancelled in 2011. In the Philippines, GMA Network was promoting singers to apply for the contest in November 2009, but the selection never progressed to live shows. Read more below:
