Montenegro debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2007 and returned to the contest in 2025 having last competed in 2022.
Montenegro in Eurovision
Montenegro made their debut in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2007, following their independence in 2006. Montenegro has competed in the contest fourteen times and has withdrawn from competing in the contest three times.

RTCG aired the 2010, 2023 and 2024 editions of the Eurovision Song Contest despite not participating in the competition. Only the 2011 and 2021 contests were not aired by the Montenegrin broadcaster.
Montenegro and other Eurovision family events
Montenegro has participated in one other Eurovision family of events since its independence from Serbia.
Junior Eurovision Song Contest
On July 18, 2014, it was announced that Montenegro would debut in the competition. Montenegro withdrew following the 2015 contest, no reason for the withdrawal was given. Montenegro’s results in the contest to date are:
- 2014 – Maša Vujadinović and Lejla Vulić – “Budi dijete na jedan dan” – 14th – 24 points
- 2015 – Jana Mirković – “Oluja” – 13th – 36 points
- 2025 – Asja Džogović – “I tužna i srećna priča” – 17th – 49 points
