Georgia made their Eurovision and Junior Eurovision debuts in 2007 and has since been one of the most successful countries in the Junior contest.
Georgia in Eurovision
Georgia made its debut in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2007 in Helsinki, Finland. The country has competed annually, Georgia has only ever missed one contest since their debut, apart from in 2009 when they had selected Stephane & 3G with “We Don’t Wanna Put In”. The EBU asked for Georgia to rewrite the lyrics of the song or change the song completely.

Georgia and other Eurovision family events
Georgia has participated in two other contests in the wider Eurovision family of events and in 2017 and 2025 hosted the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
Eurovision Young Musicians
Georgia participated in Eurovision Young Musicians once in 2012. GPB selected Lizi Ramishvili to represent Georgia in Vienna. Lizi performed the cello and did not qualify for the final, having not been among the seven musicians selected by the jury to compete in the final.
Junior Eurovision Song Contest
Georgia debuted in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2007 in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Georgia has been one of the most successful countries in the contest, with three victories to date and eleven other top-ten results.
