Czechia made its Eurovision Song Contest debut in 2007, but had already been competing in Eurovision contests since 1999.

Czechia made their debut in the Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki, Finland in 2007. The debut came after considering participation in 1993 and looking to participate in both 2005 and 2006. Czechia’s results in the contest are:

Czechia also broadcast the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2006, the contest was broadcast on delay and was shortened to 2 hours.

Czechia has seen success in Eurovision’s cultural contests and has hosted two editions of Eurovision Young Dancers.
Eurovision Young Dancers
Czechia made its debut in Eurovision Young Dancers in 1999, marking its first appearance in a Eurovision contest. ČT was the host broadcaster for Eurovision Young Dancers 2015 in Plzeň, with ČT also chosen to host in 2017 after the Maltese broadcaster was forced to cancel plans to host.

Eurovision Young Musicians
Czechia debuted in Eurovision Young Musicians in 2000 and took their first victory in the contest in 2022. The contest has seen the highest level of Czech success at Eurovision.

Jeux sans frontières
Jeux sans frontières was organised by the European Broadcasting Union between 1965 and 1999, with thirty editions of the show held. The show saw broadcasters send teams to compete in a series of games, each broadcaster hosted one episode. Czechia participated in three series of the show from 1993 to 1995.
Let the Peoples Sing
The contest was first held in 1961 by the BBC as an annual choral contest for choirs in the United Kingdom, since 1966 it has been a choral competition for choirs across Europe. Since the late 1970s, the European Broadcasting Union has organised the event with choirs allowed to compete from across the globe.
