Saina, Linus Johnsen and Geðbrigði have won awards at Pan-ArcticVision 2025 in Iqualuit, Nunavut.
The final of the third edition of Pan-ArcticVision has taken place with artists from nine regions and countries across the arctic taking to the stage in Iqualuit.
- Northern Sweden/Sápmi – NTÏV
- Alaska – Quinn Christopherson
- Greenland – Kimmernaq Kjeldsen & HH
- Iceland – Geðbrigði
- Northern Norway/Sápmi – Linus Johnsen
- Nunavut – Shauna Seeteenak
- Faroe Islands – Dóttir
- Pohjois-Suomi – Yungmiqu
- Yakutia/Sakha Republic – Saina
The participating artists were selected by cultural organisations in the respective regions as well as through an open call for entries. This year’s competition saw the debut of Yakutia.
The audience across the nine participating territories and countries determined the results of the contest, it was also determined by vote that the Rest of the World would also be eligible to vote. The three categories that were voted on tonight and the winners of those categories were:
- The most Arctic song – Saina (Yakutia/Sakha Republic)
- The song that gives the most feeling of community and togetherness – Linus Johnsen (Northern Norway/Sápmi)
- The most revolutionary song – Geðbrigði (Iceland)
Audiences were also asked to vote on the question where should host next years competition . 1 to 12 points were awarded by the online vote in each territories and region, the 12 points awarded were:
- Alaska – Alaska, Nunavut
- Pohjois-Suomi – Sápmi, Pohjois-Suomi
- Faroe Islands – Faroe Islands
- Greenland – Greenland
- Iceland – Iceland
- Northern Norway/Sápmi – Northern Norway/Sápmi
- Northern Sweden/Sápmi – Northern Sweden/Sápmi
- Russian Arctic – Russian Arctic
The overall winner and the host country for Pan-ArcticVision 2026 will be the Faroe Islands. Alaska and Iceland rounded out the top three.
Votes were also received from Yukon, Yakutia, North West Territories, Russian Arctic and the Rest of the World.
Pan-ArcticVision is loosely based on the Eurovision Song Contest and was first held in 2023. The contest aims to bring together the peoples of the Arctic. All of the artists competing in the contest were chosen by cultural organisations across the Arctic.
