The BBC have confirmed this evening to esctoday.com that the UK will be taking part in the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest. There has been no news whether the UK will continue to use an internal selection or whether they will return to a national selection process. In May after the contest Simon Cowell had offered to help with the Eurovision selection process, but there has been no news since.

As far as I am aware there is no nationaly limit in the UK. As we’ve had Dutch and French artists try to represent us, as well as Gina G and Katrina & the Waves who were Australian and American respectively, represent us.
