Roksana Węgiel has revealed that she is one of the international jury members for the final of Depi Mankakan Evratesil 2019.
Roksana the winner of the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest has traveled to Armenia, to be a part of the nations 2019 selection process. The singer who took victory last year in Minsk, Belarus will be one of the members of the international jury that will help to determine the Armenian representative for Junior Eurovision 2019.
Roksana won the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Anyone I Want to Be”. She finished 7th with the juries scoring a total of 79 points, but won the online vote scoring 136 points, beating France to victory by 12 points.
The ten performers competing in Depi Mankakan Evratesil on September 15th are:

- Anahit Arakelyan – “Chem Handznvi” (I won’t give up)
- Vardan Margaryan – “La La La“
- Robert Bagratyan – “Captain Friendship“
- Rosa Eloyan – “Im Qaghaq” (My city)
- Emily Hovhannisyan – “Parum Enq Pary” (We dance)
- Angela Albertyan – “Khaghanq Khaghagh” (Let’s play peacefully)
- Narek Markosyan – “Im Ergy” (My song)
- Karina Ignatyan – “Colours Of Your Dream“
This is the second year in a row that Depi Mankakan Evratesil has been used to select the Armenian representative for Junior Eurovision. From 2015, Armenia had internally selected their Junior Eurovision entry, but they have used a national final called Junior Eurosong to select their entries from 2008-2014.
Last year Depi Mankakan Evratesil was used for the first time, which saw ten finalists sing for their chance to represent their country in Minsk. In the end L.E.V.O.N came out on top, who went on to place 9th at the contest, their worst entry to date.

Armenia debuted in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2007, and have had 10 entries to date. The country is one of the most successful in the history of the contest, placing in the top 3 on 7 occasions, and winning once in 2010. Their victory came from Vladimir Arzumanyan with his song “Mama”, which received 120 points. Armenia then went on to host the contest on home soil in Yerevan in 2011. Their debut was almost as successful, as Arevik and her song “Erazanq” was just 1 point off the winning score.
