Today the application window for the Irish selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025 will close.
Junior Eurovision Éire will once again select the Irish representative for Junior Eurovision. Auditions will take place throughout the country. From these auditions, 10 singers will be chosen to advance to the studio round.
The 10 entrants will compete over several shows in the studio round until one entrant is chosen as the Irish representative for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025.
The rules of the selection are as follows:
- Participants must be aged between 9 and 14 on the date of competition in Autumn 2025.
- The studio round will take place in Dublin.
- Soloists, duets and groups of up six people can take part.
- Participants must be Irish citizens or residents.
Singers have until 13:05 CET today to submit their application here.
Enya Cox Dempsey represented Ireland at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Madrid with “Le chéile”. Ireland placed 15th out of 17 entries scoring 55 points. Ireland was 12th with the juries scoring 15 points and 16th with the online vote scoring 40 points.
