Today, another two countries have confirmed their participation in Stockholm next May, Italy (RAI) and Romania (TVR)
The methods for how these countries will select their entries is yet to be confirmed. Early this year, Italy used San Remo to select their participant for Eurovision; Il Volo won San Remo with ‘Grande Amore’. Romania used a televised national selection and chose Voltaj with ‘Del a capāt’.
Bulgaria (BNT), who have been absent at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2013 and 2014 have provisionally submitted the required paperwork to the EBU regarding their participation in Stockholm. Therefore, it is likely that they will be participating in Stockholm next May.
Wow! This could be a big event! 35 countries are already provisionally confirmed and neither Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, Russia, Moldova, Armenia, Slovakia, Australia or Portugal have confirmed participation. If all of them participate we’ll see 45 countries. If Morocco returns it’ll be 46. Fingers crossed! 🙂
i dont think Marocco come on back. Tunisia and Algeria are more westernized
