๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ญ 38 Countries Will Participate in Eurovision Song Contest 2025

The European Broadcasting Union has published the list of participating countries in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025.

A total of 38 countries will be competing in the 69th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest in Basel, Switzerland in May 2025. The number of countries has increased compared to the 2024 contest with the return of Montenegro to the contest. Montenegro last competed in 2022.

The complete line-up is as follows:

It has also been confirmed that the Semi-Final Running Order Draw will be held on January 28. This draw determines the split of the 32 countries that are not pre-qualified for the final across the two Semi Finals and determines the semi-final in which the Big Five and host country of Switzerland will each be voting in.

Martin Green, the EBUโ€™s Eurovision Song Contest Director, said:

After the huge success of the 2024 Contest in Malmรถ, we are thrilled to see an increased line-up of participating countries for 2025. The Eurovision Song Contest continues to be the biggest and most exciting live event in the world and weโ€™re delighted to have the support and commitment from 38 participating broadcasters for next year in Basel.

โ€œPlanning for the 69th Eurovision Song Contest is well underway with our colleagues at SGR SSR, and we believe both our members and fans around the world can look forward to three wonderful shows next May.

Switzerland is hosting Eurovision 2025 after Nemo won the 2024 contest with their song โ€œThe Codeโ€. โ€œThe Codeโ€ scored 365 jury points and 226 televote points, scoring 591 points to win the contest overall and bring the Eurovision trophy to Switzerland for the first time since 1988.

Basel will host the 69th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest on May 13, 15 and 17.
