Enya Cox Dempsey has won Junior Eurovision Éire 2024 and will represent Ireland at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Madrid with the song “Le chéile”.

The final of Junior Eurovision Éire 2024 was aired this evening. The show was hosted by Louise Cantillon.
The results were decided by a jury consisting of two permanent judges; broadcaster Niamh Ní Chróinín and singer Tadhg Ó Gríofa, and this week’s guest judge Linda Martin, who represented Ireland at Eurovision 1983 and 1992, winning the latter.
Tonight’s show consisted of two rounds. In the first round, the three finalists performed two songs; one song that they already performed in past shows and a cover of a past Eurovision entry. In the second round, the final two finalists performed “Le chéile” (Together), the Irish entry for Junior Eurovision 2024.
The results of the first round were as follows:
- Lottie O’Driscoll Murray – “And I’m Telling You I’m Not Going” / “Euphoria” – Sing-Off
- Isla McManus – “Perfect” / “Rock’n’Roll Kids”
- Enya Cox Dempsey – “Driver’s Licence” / “Arcade” – Sing-Off
The results of the second round were as follows:
- Lottie O’Driscoll Murray – “Le chéile”
- Enya Cox Dempsey – “Le chéile” – Winner
Jessica McKean represented Ireland at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2023 with “Aisling”. She finished last with 42 points. This is Ireland’s worst result in the contest to date.

Ireland in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest
Ireland debuted in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest at the 2015 contest in Sofia, Bulgaria. The nation’s participation is organised by the Irish-language broadcaster TG4. At the 2015 contest in Bulgaria, Ireland was represented by Aimee Banks with the song “Réalta na Mara”. She finished 12th in the final. The country’s best result came at the 2022 contest in Armenia. Ireland was represented by Sophie Lennon with the song “Solas”. She finished 4th in the final, scoring a total of 150 points.
