RTK has announced the dates on which the second edition of Festivali i Këngës në RTK will be held.
Festivali i Këngës në RTK 2024 will take place across three nights from October 24 to 26. The contest will once again be coming live from the Great Hall of the Youth Palace in Pristina, the contest will be broadcast on RTK and Radio Kosova.
Eighteen acts are due to compete in the contest:
- Greta Azizi – “Verës”
- Inorga – “Seks mashina nga Prishtina”
- Besmir Shishko – “Unë – Ajo”
- Santino de Bartolo – “Unë jam arbëresh”
- Agim Poshka – “Ndarja erdhi”
- Irma Lepuri – “Të dua”
- Endrit Krasniqi – “Flas me gjethen”
- Ardita Begu – “Fundosu në dritë”
- Rei Bezhani – “Zonja tradhti”
- Bledi Kaso – “Një të vetme ka në jetë”
- Artea Bajri – “Strong waves”
- Dea Strica – “N’Shqipni”
- Jehona Lumi – “Shko”
- Arnitë Kastrati – “Blla Blla”
- Ardit Stafai – “Faji”
- Vlona Boshnjaku – “Lotët”
- Bruna Sata – “Ti je i pashpirt”
- Luna Çausholli – “Ma ule diellin ti”
Festivali i Këngës në RTK was launched in 2023, with the intention that the contest would be used to select a future Kosovan representative for the Eurovision Song Contest.
The broadcaster applied earlier this year to compete in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025, however over the summer local media reported that EBU had rejected its application. RTK was informed by the EBU that they need to apply to become full members before they will be eligible to compete in the contest.
