๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น Italy: Rai Release Televoting Results During Semi-Final Two

The Italian broadcaster Rai has released the results of the televote during the live broadcast of Semi-Final Two of Eurovision 2024.

Following the reveal of the ten qualifying countries from Semi-Final 2, the Italian broadcaster Rai 2 released the results of the Italian televote on screen. The data included the percentage of votes received by each participating country.

According to the results on screen, the following were the percentages each country received from Italian televoters:

  • Malta: 2.19%
  • Albania: 6.68%
  • Greece: 5.29%
  • Switzerland: 6.03%
  • Czech Republic: 2.48%
  • Austria: 2.84%
  • Denmark: 2.93%
  • Armenia: 5.83%
  • Latvia: 2.91%
  • San Marino: 3.54%
  • Georgia: 6.64%
  • Belgium: 1.68%
  • Estonia: 2.8%
  • Israel: 39.31%
  • Norway: 1.55%
  • The Netherlands: 7.32%

Broadcasters are not allowed to release the full results of their voting during the Semi-Finals. The full voting results are only released following the Grand Final.

Italy debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1956 and has participated a total of 42 times to date. Italy returned to the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011 having last participated in the contest in 1997, the country has withdrawn from the contest on a number of occasions in the past. Italy has won the contest three times, the first time being in 1964 and the latest being in 2021. Italyโ€™s hosting of the contest in 1991 has been remembered as one of the most chaotic contests to date. Since their return in 2011 Italy has finished in the top 10 on eight occasions.
