STAND UNIQU3 have performed their entry for Junior Eurovision “Back To Life” at Children In Need on BBC One.
Girl group STAND UNIQU3, who will represent the United Kingdom at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, have performed their competing song during last night’s broadcast of Children In Need on BBC One. The show raises money for children and young people across the United Kingdom facing challenges.
STAND UNIQU3 is made up of three members – 12-year olds Yazmin from Newcastle and Hayla from Liverpool, along with 13-year old Maisie from Essex.
The girls were selected following an extensive audition process, where their chemistry as a group shone through enough that they were brought together. Their song “Back to Life” is written by songwriters Sky Adams, Jakke Erixson and Jack Hawitt.
STAND UNIQU3 are following in the footsteps of Freya Skye, who was the UK’s first Junior Eurovision entry since 2005.

The United Kingdom were one of sixteen countries to take part in the first edition of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2003. Tom Morley’s “My Song for The World” finished in 3rd place in Copenhagen. A year later, Cory Spedding brought home a 2nd place result with “The Best is Yet to Come”. Their last result before they withdrew was 14th place in 2005. In 2022, the country returned to the contest after a 17 year break.
