TuralTuranX have been chosen to represent Azerbaijan in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool with the song “Tell Me More”.
Tural and Turan Bağmanovlar will represent Azerbaijan at Eurovision 2023 under the name TuralTuranX. “Tell Me More” was written and composed by Tural and Turan. This is the first time since 2008 that the Azeri Eurovision entry was composed by an entirely Azeri team.
The duet was internally selected to represent Azerbaijan in Liverpool. They were one of five shortlisted artists in the running to represent the country. The remaining acts:

- Humay Aslanova & Amrah Musayev
- Leyla Izzatova
- Mamagama
- Turan & Tural Bağmanovlar
After a series of auditions, the five shortlisted acts had their studio recordings and live performances shared with a focus group. The focus group then selected X to represent Azerbaijan at the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool.
TuralTuranX will perform in the second half of the first semi-final on May 9.

Azerbaijan in the Eurovision Song Contest
zerbaijan debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2008, they were represented by Elnur & Samir with the song “Day After Day”, they finished 8th in the final. In 2011 Azerbaijan won the Eurovision Song Contest represented by Ell & Nikki and their song “Running Scared”. The song scored a total of 221 points, receiving only three sets of 12 points from Malta, Russia and Turkey. In 2018 Azerbaijan failed to qualify for the final for the first time, having previously had a 100% qualification record.
